1998 - February

| |
Director of
advanced Application Development, Sales Engineer, and Director of
Strategic Product Development |

In the 12 years
that I have been with Synchronics and Radiant Systems, I have had
many responsibilities. Radiant Systems (NASDAQ: RADS) is an Atlanta-based
corporation that acquired Synchronics, a Memphis-based Point of Sale
software provider, in 2006. For 8 years (1998 – 2006), I was
responsible for the design and development of CounterPoint SQL, a
Windows-based Microsoft SQL solution for specialty retailers. CounterPoint
SQL is a touch-screen enabled Point of Sale package that includes
Point of Sale, Inventory Management, Customer Management, Accounts
Receivable, Purchasing, Receiving, Sales Analysis, Reporting, and
Barcode Label printing. |
| |
|
| |
CounterPoint
SQL is sold through a network of independent business partners or
VARs (Software One, Inc. – see below – was one such partner).
The 10 member design and development staff I managed included both
designers and Delphi programmers and I was responsible for all aspects
of the planning and day-to-day operations of the department. I was
an active participant in the design of the software as well as writing
and reviewing feature specifications. I worked with other departments
to ensure a quality product release with thorough QA testing, documentation,
and training materials. Other responsibilities included interviewing,
staff reviews, priority setting, and sales presentations to partners
and prospective users. I also developed classroom training materials
for the 2-day Advanced Customizing class that I taught quarterly. |
| |
|
| |
During the past
2 years, my role focused on sales opportunities and providing direct
support to our channel partners. I was instrumental in many situations
to provide needed customizations, enhancements, and reports. I was
often the “go to” person for answers and implementation
questions from various departments and partners alike and have modified
and written numerous specialized programs and reports for the user
community. My most recent role involved design and implementation
of new systems, custom programming with SQL Server stored procedures,
custom reports using Crystal Reports, teaching classes (both on-site
and classroom) and travel for sales presentations and development
work. |

CounterPoint
SQL was implemented at the stadium for The Jacksonville Jaguars NFL
team in August, 2010. The stadium merchandise is managed by XP Events
and they chose CounterPoint for the various gift shops and kiosks
throughout the stadium.
My involvement included: |
| |
- Demo of
CounterPoint to the major decision makers to help secure the contract
- I wrote
custom modifications for Employee discount pricing, Top-N sales
reports for history and live data, and six new Crystal Reports
for reporting with export to Excel

full system implementation of CounterPoint, including data conversion,

Reports), Touchscreen layout, and some training for back-office
personnel. The hardware deployment was done with a team of 3 people
and I assisted with that. I was on-site for several weeks before
the season started for all of the pre-season games and was there
to assist during the first regular season game on September 12,
2010. I was called to troubleshoot problems throughout the season.
